Before Old school like Jason and Micheal Meyers , their was old old school and ,Frankenstein was bad ass in my opinion . I checked out the first true trilogy ( Frankenstein , Bride of Frankenstein and Son of Frankenstein) I call the Boris Karloff Trilogy. These flicks were ahead of its time and in many films today were inspired by these films.

Lol, same thing for me.

Example in horror films: If it wasn't for Hitchcock and Norman Bates, Michael Myers's Halloween series would've never set the basis for the silent killers (Leatherface, while the first mass killer didn't follow the trend until the Friday the 13th series was well under way.)

I agree with you man , I miss the classic Universal Monsters , I mean sure the're lots of vampire and werewolf ficks outhere , but I kinda miss Dracula , Frankestein , hell man even the Creature from the Black Lagoon would make a good movie now with today computer and special FX.
